Before That Hidden Promise was born, in what I like to refer to as "The Hermit years", I was writing lots of music and recording on my home set up (which I still continue to do), in a netherworld when it was a bit trickier to navigate the self-releasing route and I wasn't sure how best to perform live, as a solo act.
So, these songs remained pretty much on the shelves until now, but were critical in developing what would become That Hidden Promise and I am still really proud of the songs themselves and what I was trying to say with them.
This is the first volume in a two part release, coming out ahead of my new album "A New Horizon", which will be released later in 2023.
